Possible to dimension the frame width instead of wall opening?

Hi!

I wonder if there's a smart way of getting frame width instead of wall opening when measuring curtain walls?
Here's a picture (in Swedish) showing the problem. Working as intended for doors but not curtain walls:

Insert a larger Wall Opening and measure it.

Or, create a curtain type with the "10 mm shim" as the border frame, no divisions.  Insert it in the wall and set the size = the rough opening.  Nest the original Curtain wall in it as the panel.
