3ds max 2024 reports "Installation not possible"

"Hardware does not meet minimum requirements"

I was trying on a PC with: i9, Win10x64, 32GB RAM,.. what does it need?

Is there a useful logfile somewhere?

It could be your version of Windows 10.  

 

I did write a work-around for that not too long ago.
