Does any one have a telephone number for the UK for technical support
AutoCAD LT Will not complete the initial install
hanging on checking licence.

You should have a support number in your https://accounts.autodesk.com if you have advanced support. 

 

In the mean-time, I would recommend that you try downloading your product using the virtual assistant by following the directions here:
