Installation Problem "Insert Disc 1"

Hello guys,

 

I have a problem with the installation of AutoCAD 2016 for students.

I got the message "Insert Disc 1" when i try to install AutoCAD2016 with the downloaded installer exe. The message pops up when the installer tries to install the libary.

I have this probelm in german and english version.

 

What i have to do?

Hi @Anonymous,

 

Welcome to the community!

Sorry to hear about the issue. I would recommend you try redownloading from the virtual agent linked above and see if you end up with the same problem. Did you also know there is a German Community!

Make sure you are installing from your C:\ drive. If you tried copying this to a USB, DVD, or mapped drive, then you will get this error.

Thank's for the quick reply!

I placed the setupfile on the wrong drive.

Now on C the installation runs fine.
