Global license availability.

Hello, is it still possible to buy a global license? And what are my options if it's not possible and the only reseller listed on website is not active \ selling licenses anymore. I found some local websites that sell licenses but they seem to be global ones and those sites look pretty shady.

Hi

Look at different user/license types here: Terms of Use | Offering Types and Benefits | Autodesk

If you buy a single-user license within one of the countries mentioned in this list, you can then use it globally: GUR_Approved_Country_List_ENG_update_06162022.pdf (autodesk.net)

i think you mean Enterprise Licensing or whatever they are calling it now

this is something offered by Autodesk directly

what website lists the reseller as inactive

use this website for Authorized Partners:

Hello Darren, thanks for you reply. I was looking for a reseller in Tbilisi, Georgia but the company I found

Softline Georgia LLC has actually split and now the other one offers license. Moreover Softline is a Russian company and I was able to obtain this information only because I speak Russian and used Russian social network to contact them. Using the official e-mail yilded no success. I think it might be a good idea to update links and info. Here is the company that sells them https://noventiq.com/ and here is the link to their store https://noventiqstore.ge/multimedia-and-design

Now it is still not a good solution for me since we only need it for a couple of months and reseller offers 1y minimum. Which would mean my company loses about 2k$

Thanks for the reply, that looks like a very good option but I guess it's not possible to buy an individual license and then use it to create a commercial product for a company I am working for as a contractor? The product in question is a Maya plugin we plan to sell.

So just to reiterate I do need a license to use it commercially for my company but I will be the only user of the license. Is it possible to opt for a single user license then?

Autodesk doesn't sell their licenses this way even if you got an Enterprise license Autodesk locks you in a contract for several years

since its Russia Autodesk probably cut their businesses due to whats going on

well, the company I work for is in UK, I am in Georgia. And the website does offer 280 eur per month license for a single user. I just can't buy it myself because I am in Georgia. Also according to this statement in licensing docs it seems that someone in UK from my company can buy a license and then reassign it to me?
"You may reassign Your Single User subscription from one (1) individual Authorized User to another individual Authorized User if You follow and complete Autodesk’s policy and process for reassignment and comply with these Terms". Or does this work only if we are in the same country?

why not find a reseller in the U.K?

there are several of them

are you employed by this company or a contractor?

other option is Flex Tokens

I agree with Darren.  Since Georgia is not listed on the global rights usage list, then your best bet is to buy tokens.  They do not have that sort of restriction.

Thanks a lot for your help. I considered flex tokens but it would be way to expensive if I buy them for a month even. I ended up writing support again this time excplicitly asking about Single user subscritption and reassignment. I was told that since UK is listed in global usage list it's possible for a person in our UK company to buy a license and then reassign it to me.
