I would recommend 64-bit license manager and that your service be called
the default FlexLM Service 1.

Let me know once you've gotten that far. There's a small possibility that
you might want to use the 11.7 64-bit version as well for R2. I have found
a few times where 11.12.x.x does not work well on R2.

Post your debug log file here.  You can also PM me your license file if you'd like.

Are you running any other license managers for other products?

Stop the service.  Close LMTOOLS.  Open up the Windows Task Manager and go to the Processes (Details) tab.  Sort by name alphabetically and look for these:

lmgrd.exe

adskflex.exe

If either exist, end the processes.

Launch LMTOOLS again and try to start the service.  Let me know the results.

Alright, that's fine.

Do this:

Open LMTOOLS.  Go to the Config Services tab.  Check to see if there is more than one service listed in the pulldown box.

Assuming there is only the one, click the Remove Service button and click Yes to confirm.

Configure the license manager again, checking both boxes at the bottom.  Save the Service then start it.

Let me know.

Did you name it something other than FlexLM Service 1? I generally see
better luck keeping it default.

Also, what is your version of the license manager?

Is your license file still valid, by chance? Is this a Virtual Machine?
