Does Autodesk Maya trial version require a license.dat file

Hi,

 

I've downloaded the downloaded the Autodesk Maya 2024 Update 2 version from Autodesk website. To install this does it require a license.dat file & activation? or the software automatically works for 30 days and then fails to run?

Should just run 30 days then expire.

So it doesn't require a license.dat file and Flexnet license server as well right?
