Hello to the Fusion Design Community! 

 

As always, we greatly appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule to notify us of the issues that you find in Fusion, and we would like to show that appreciation! 

 

As part of our ongoing effort to increase both transparency and communication with you, we're continuing with our initiative of calling out all the Forum Reported bug fixes that are included in the upcoming update. The list below comprises all the issues that have been raised specifically by our very-engaged community. So, without further ado, here is what we're going to see in the May 2025 update (creator of forum thread and the thread itself, in no particular order):

 

Design

 

Legacy files should retain their P/N’s for flat patterns when opening in current Fusion

Same issue with this thread

Render “Depth of Field” should now be working correctly

Mac OS; the “Workplace Switcher” should now be placed to align with PC behavior

Mac OS: Panning with trackpad should have better performance

“Extrude” should be a bit more robust when selecting multiple profiles

Hidden bodies should not be selectable after performing a Combine/Cut

Just as in prior updates, this isn’t to suggest that these are the only fixes that we've included in the update. The list above are the issues specific to what’s been reported by the Design/Support community; within this update our team has additionally found and fixed well over 100 different bugs and issues.

Still haven’t seen your issue on the list and wondering if/when it's going to get fixed? Don't hesitate to "bump" the original thread that you created, and I'll be happy to chase down the status of your issue!

Pan stopped working with middle mouse button click. Am I the only one being impacted by this?

Thank you seth, decal rotation now looks good.

I will be happy if Decal API also runs in direct modeling mode: 

Decal API in direct modeling mode raises "RuntimeError: 2 : InternalValidationError : timelineObj"
