Just create a sketch and project the edges of one panels and dimension the circle off of the reference geometry you project into the sketch. Then extrude cut using the circle.

Here's a picture that might help, the sizes are not correct but should give you an idea how to construct your sketch.

I don't understand all, but I has to redo at first the dome because I had imported it of 123d.

But by making the dome with a revolution, the top is not round, any idéa ?

Make sure you have a vertical\horizontal constraint between the arc centre, arc end and the axis to revolve around.

Screencast demo.

Ok, it's all good, it's my fault, the dome is not a circle but a ellipse.

A big thanks

I join the file.

I also noticed, by making a cutting in view that my panels are not just, of needs they one the just air, but below it crosses it with the dome.
Seen that I begin, me has to not make the operations correctly.

This is one way to do this.

If the dome shape was perfectly round, I would just use a tangent constraint on the line - but because it is ellipsoidal, the tangent constraint does not work. By selecting the two end points of the curve, I can approximate what the slope would be between them.

Note that the distance between the two lines is of no consequence as long as your extrude cut extends far enough.

This method can be adapted to work at a specific angle as well (for example 45 degrees). In that case the floating line would be dimensioned against a vertical or horizontal line to give the degree measurement.

Hi @budi67,

Here you go. Just reverse engineer it to see what I did. Let me know if you have any question.

Sorry but i have another problem, i have try to make panels at the bottom Dome.

I tried a method which I considered just, but the measures are not correct.

The 2 etching are not parallel

There, I swim !!, it is all the same infuriating not to find.
