Hello, I would like to ask if anyone else has experienced this behavior in FlexSim 25.2.0. Occasionally, and apparently randomly, an empty pop-up window remains floating on the screen. In the screenshots, it happened with a trigger/code editor window, specifically **Source2 - On Creation**, but I have also seen similar behavior with other types of windows, such as the Experimenter window or list entry/editing windows. The issue is that the window becomes completely empty and frozen. It cannot be moved and it does not respond to the usual window commands such as minimize, maximize, or close. Even if I close FlexSim, the empty window remains visible in Windows and only disappears after restarting the PC. I am attaching screenshots showing: the empty frozen window while FlexSim is still open the same window still remaining on the desktop after closing FlexSim. I have not been able to reproduce the issue consistently. If I open the same window again from FlexSim, it normally opens and closes without any problem. I have also experienced this behavior with different FlexSim files, so I do not think it is related to a specific model file. Has anyone else experienced something similar with version 25.2.0? It does not seem to be related to the model logic, but rather to a graphical interface or pop-up window handling issue.   I am attaching my device specifications.   Thanks in advance.           Show More

Hi,   In the attached model, TE stops according to the timetable for only one minute, from 08:00:15 to 08:01:15, while unloading. The unloading time is set from the TE's property. When the stop time is shorter than the unloading time, the following error occurs. (Exception Caught in resumeobject()~) When the stop time is longer than the unloading time, TE continues unloading even though it is stopped. Is the above behavior a bug? To avoid these behaviors, is the only way to reproduce the unloading time in the process flow by using a delay? Version 25.2.0 Thank you in advance. Show More

Hi I dont know how many of you have gained experience with that tool.  I at least start to use it for every project.  Ideas to improve: - 3D-View selection when opening the model - possibility to select, what Category will be shown in Flexsim - possibility to select a 2D-View to use it like a 2D-DWG import   next level will be, when you make the Revit-Family import possible for Items.  I dont like to use the standard prozessor, I know there is a workflow with AutoCAD and Inventor. but there are many users out there using Revit and Revit has really bad collaboration with Autocad and Inventor.  so please, also work on improvement to import Revit-Families with Type-Selection for the "Shape" to have the specific Items in Flexsim.  Show More

Under certain conditions the position of an AGV train is calculated wrong after coupling with another train. The case where I found this to happen consistently is the following:   An AGV train is decoupled with the last trailer (another AGV) becoming the new driver. The original driver is then again coupled to the train (essentially just switching the driver of the train).   When the new driver (TE2) starts a travel task, the entire train with the exception of TE1 moves back by half a waggon length. At this point the visuals still look fine but in the tree TE1 is already listed as a trailer with a negative gap.   When TE2 starts a travel task the visuals are updated and also reflect this wrong gap. Notably, the difference to what the gap should be is exactly half a waggon length.   If some waggons stay coupled to TE1 the error increases. At most the gap reaches the negative size of the AGV. This becomes apparent when the item size in the attached model is chosen to be different from the TE size.   I hope this issue can be resolved soon. Kind regard Felix Möhlmann Show More

  I was using the eye dropper to assign the value field from a Global table to a "by percentage" distribution for the "assign labels block" in process flow. My screen was setup so the global table was on the left and the process flow is on the right. Once I click on the eye dropper, as I move my mouse to the global table it mouses over the process flow area of the screen.   I did not click on anything but as the mouse passes over the process flow get the following errors:   This only happens when I mouse over the comment text on the arrows in the screen above that say 3104, 5182 and 6000. If I move the mouse so it does not pass over this text it all works as intended. Show More

As of version 17.1 beta, FlexSim does not properly allow tree items to be renamed via the "More Properties" window. Steps to reproduce this are: Create a blank model Drag a source into the model Switch to tree view Click on the source Under the Quick Properties menu, click "More Properties" In the properties window that opened, change the name of the source to something different Click OK Note that renaming directly via the tree, or via the name field in the quick properties window does still work properly, however. When I try to turn on RTX mode in FlexSim 2026, the model freezes forever without giving any error messages. The GPU driver version is 581. I have searched a few solutions but none of them work. @philboboADSK, could you please help to take a look. Gemini reply the potential issue could be as follows: If the developers of FlexSim compiled the 2026 release using an older version of the OptiX SDK (which is highly likely, as Blackwell was just released), no combination of driver rollbacks or settings changes on your end will fix it. The software literally does not possess the code required to run ray-tracing on a 5090. The Fix: You will need to reach out directly to FlexSim support. When you do, be highly specific: tell them you are running an RTX 5090 (Blackwell architecture) and that the OptiX engine hard-freezes upon initialization. They may have an internal hotfix patch, or they may be able to provide you with updated optix.dll files to drop into your installation folder until they release an official update. Show More

Hi,   If you create a pass-through parameter and select a global table cell as the reference :   You will have a bug in the value node. Every time you click on it, it modifies its value :   It seems that this behavior sometimes renders the use of this type of parameter with experimenter non-functional. The first scenario use a correct value, and the ohers scenarios use a 0 value. I can't share the real model with this bug, but I attached the simple version used for the GIF.     Show More

Greetings Everyone,   I recently set up a web server to provide stakeholders in my organization with access to our FlexSim work. While rendering some of my older models on the web interface, I noticed that the text size appeared significantly larger than what I had originally designed in the FlexSim application.   After investigating the issue and experimenting with available font size settings, I discovered that creating a new model with base units set to meters (instead of feet, which most of my existing models use) resolved the problem. However, when I tried updating the font properties in my older models from feet to meters, the text still did not render correctly on the web interface. The only workaround I found was resizing the fonts directly in the application, but this negatively impacts usability in the original models because it makes important data harder to read. If this behavior is not a bug and there’s a recommended approach for preparing older models for web rendering, I would greatly appreciate any guidance.   Thank you! Show More

We are having an issue with discrete model parameters.    We are using discrete parameters for RL with the stepsize of 0.01 (see following picture).   We are setting these parameters to a random value in between the lower and uper bound. But for some reason,  we are running into an exception, that FlexSim is unable to set the paramter to the value, but the value is set nevertheless:     The right value appears in the model parameters table too. Experimenter makes an error when the model doesn’t have any Performance Measure. And it also doesn’t make a report in a proper way. I think some users might want to use the Experimenter without Performance Measures. I attached the model and the report (NoPerformanceMeasures.fsm & NoPerformanceMeasures.html).
