On the default install of Advance Steel there are 5 pre-configured Status: Not Set, Revised, Comment, Approved, Rejected. It is possible now that you can add your own custom statuses to this list. This is done using the Object Property Editor in Management Tools.
From the Home ribbon in Advance Steel, select the Management Tools icon from the Settings panel and then select Object Property Editor.
Once inside the Object Property Editor, navigate to the Approval Status dropdown. Here simply select any existing entry under Approval Status and click ‘New’ then fill in your desired name and colour.
Once back with your model, go to the Document Manager to assign the custom status to the documents.
To go with the Approval Status there is also a property for each document called Approval Comment. You can set this by right clicking on a drawing file name in Document Manager and selecting Approval Comment and then adding a comment to go with custom approval status.
