I am working at one of the multi national company where we rely on AutoCAD Map 3D for our outside plant GIS system. Recently, we encountered an issue with one of our contractors who used ProgeCAD 2020 Professional for their engineering drawings. After importing their data into AutoCAD, we discovered that everything appeared to be corrupted. Cables were not connected properly and features were significantly misaligned. However, upon examining the original DWG files created by the contractor, everything appeared to be correct. It seems that something is being lost in translation during the file conversion process. Add "Apply" button to the Rubber Sheet command dialog box.  This would allow the user to view the raster transformation result before clicking Ok and accepting the result.  This would also allow the user to tinker with the control points and see the impact after each change, with the dialog box kept open, in order to get the best possible fit prior to clicking Ok which closes the dialog box.  Note: The Preview button does not achieve this.   Show More

Hi all I want to show a specific length (for example: 1350 meter) from specify point on the network of main and secondary pipe lines. Of course, I raised this problem in the map 3d forum so that maybe it can be solved by creating a topology. But it seems that this is not possible in map 3d (network topology analysis: Shortest Path,Flood Trace,Best Route). The point specified by the user can be at the beginning of one pipe(polyline) and at the end of another pipe(polyline) at the same time . But surely the point selected by the user will not be somewhere else on the polyline. I want to specify the start point ,then program to select the polylines that are in contact with it and to show a point on the main pipes and branches. and all the main pipes' Polylines and all sub pipes' polylines no contain arc segments. In this dialogue for gradient hatches I am missing the option to set gradient color two to none or to set the transparency individually for the two colors.   Therefore it is impossible for example to create a circle with a color in the center and letting the color disappear towards the edge.   Example created with photoshop:   Show More
