I’ve been thinking about how AI could enhance workflows in AutoCAD, particularly for optimizing designs. Imagine an AI-powered tool that analyzes a draft and provides suggestions to improve efficiency, material usage, or structural integrity based on predefined parameters.
For example:
- In architecture, it could suggest changes to reduce material waste or improve energy efficiency.
- In engineering, it might highlight areas where a design could be simplified without compromising strength.
- For mechanical drafting, it could propose alternative layouts for better performance.
The tool could work as an optional plugin where users input their objectives (e.g., reduce weight, minimize cost), and the AI generates actionable insights or alternative designs.
