I am working at one of the multi national company where we rely on AutoCAD Map 3D for our outside plant GIS system. Recently, we encountered an issue with one of our contractors who used ProgeCAD 2020 Professional for their engineering drawings. After importing their data into AutoCAD, we discovered that everything appeared to be corrupted. Cables were not connected properly and features were significantly misaligned. However, upon examining the original DWG files created by the contractor, everything appeared to be correct. It seems that something is being lost in translation during the file conversion process. I'm curious if anyone else has encountered a similar situation.
