I've been having problems with Custom Projections, specifically any attempt to use NSRS11, but also working back and forth between C3D versions 2014 and 2016 <<Here>> and <<Here>>.
@Alfred.NESWADBA summed up what I think is most of the problem, thusly: "The 'home directory' between coordinate systems is separated for every version (in C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Geospatial Coordinate Systems 14.xx), so every release of Map 3D knows where to read the config's. But there is only one folder for user-defined-coordinatesystems, so every Map 3D release saves it's definition in the same folder ... and I guess the formats are not compatible, so saving a user-CS with Map 3D 2014 seems to have issues when you start Map 3D 2016 (as you have already seen with the empty dialog for MAPCSLIBRARY). I don't know why the user folders are not seperated for each Map 3D release as the built-in-folders are ... that would solve some issues and maybe this one here too."
So, how about a separate folder for each year's User Geospatial Coordinate Systems?
