Is this a shared file? is it on a network drive? What method are you using to save your drawing?

This is probably not an AutoCAD issue.

It's easy enough to find out who saved the file last and when to find out where the problem lies.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Are pieces moving/rotating along with others, even though you aren't selecting them?  Is automatically infer constraints turned on?

If you're working with XREFs, bind them.

A PEBKAC error maybe?  🙂

You should be sure of your drawing environment before doing this as it is probably not a good idea, especially if they are changing. That is unless you have an unusual situation.

How are you getting XREFs from the OPs description?

OP can't seem to answer any questions with much detail so everyone is doing the nxt best thing and throwing out guesses. Each is as valid as any other guess until the OP is able to answer questions intelligibly.

That's a matter of opinion. If alterations are being done to the file, then XREF is probably not the issue.

We don't know that yet from the OP.

I use xrefs on a shared network and I intentionally change them if needed. Then all of our projects change at the same time. Don't need it said.

This statement makes me think that the minor alterations are not to XREFs, even if they are present. But, I guess I might be being presumptive.
