This is totally technical request directed to DEV team. I think that it's time to implement JSON files to store clear information instead for example the 3dsmax.ini ... Json is a standard to store information, easy to manage, flexible and robust. It's possible to handle from major development environment and IDE and is a really easy way to involve clients and communities. Its always a G.D.F.P.I.T.A to add scripts to toolbars. Not all scripts are drag and drop on the toolbar. If they have a proper installer with them and are avalable in the toolbar command list, then yes. What if theyre not and are designed to be ran from the run scripts menu? Then a convoluted process begins. Notes should be taken from Unreal Engine or any other gaming engine on script installations or am I missing an updated process? Some scripts have to be installed in admin mode, shut down Max and then start back in normal mode.   In addition, on an average of 2 times a month Im having to reset Max interface due to some corruption and have to redo the process again because even saving the layout and restoring it doesnt add the buttons back to the toolbar about 90% of the time. It's completely useless now and very difficult/time consuming to find anything strictly Maxscript. Results are flooded with many forum posts, that has nothing to do with Developer Documentation. A developer documentation is meant to provide information such as coding standards, syntax and native methods/API which are tightly knitted to developing tools and so on.
