I have a licensed copy of AutoCad 2009. I'm having major complications with the computer and now require a reformat. What are the proper steps that I would need to take to make sure I am able to successfully to re-activate AutoCad when I reintall?
You could attempt to use the Portable License Utility to export your license. However, that will probably fail. So long as you have not upgraded your AutoCAD 2009 to a later version or via Subscription, you should be able to just reinstall after your format and activate it without issue. If you run into any problems, Autodesk activations can assist you.
