I am trying to unistall Revit 2012 and I cannot access the uninstaller. I go to add/remove programs and click uninstall and nothing happens. I briefly see the windows circle 'thinking' but then nothing.
Furthermore, I have tried to open the program and it hangs on the splash screen and won't open. I have followed all directions from this post:
and it still hangs up and must be forced to close.
I don't want to get the software functioning anymore. I just want it gone. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks!

Thank you for the replay....however that link definately does not help.
The link you provided basically walks you through Add/Remove programs. Did you not see the first part of my post? The uninstaller will not even start when I go to Add/Remove programs. The program is listed but nothing happens when I double-click it, right click and select uninstall or select uninstall from the menu at the top.
I need an alternative method to remove the program or fix the reason why it is not accessable through Add/Remove programs.
To Diagnose and Fix installation problems automatically, please see the new Microsoft tool for this here:

For all other installation problems on Windows XP SP2 or below consider using the Microsoft Installer Clean Up Utility. For more information on this program, please my forum post here:

Thank you Travis.
The first link to the Microsoft Fixit article worked. It was successfully uninstalled.
Thanks again.
Excellent! Happy to help!
True, that microsoft uninstall tool removes any remaining of revit, the only thing is that we have to scroll down since the revit program is not listed under the Autodesk apps, its listed under Revit 2014
