In our world we have ended up with a couple of different Vaults. Mostly due to DOD work and the fact that we also have foreign national advisers within the engineering groups. But also with the DOD work, we need to segregate who can access the Vault that this work is being done on. Our workspace is a single Vault project environment and that project file runs both vaults. So the directory structures are the same and the main original Vault still holds all of the Template/Design Standard type of stuff. For most Engineers, they are assigned to a certain area and then just need to make sure they are logged into the correct Vault to start with. As long as they have selected auto log in they will always return to that Vault per their profile. In managing these, I have to come in and out of them as needed. There have been many times that I have push incorrect information into the wrong Vault and had to redirect what I have done. Nothing major but is has happened. Now in Vault Explorer it is very easy to tell the Vault you are logged into through the interface. However in the application add-ins, Vault and Excel as an example, I do not see a way to know what Vault is logged into. My method at this point is to log out and back in to make sure of the proper Vault connection. I would like to see some indication from the application add-ins that shows what Vault is currently connected to.
