Scenario is, User A created CN/CR, sent for approval, PM/Lead rejected as changes are needed, User A took 2 days to correct the CN/CR, sent it back for PM/Lead MD approval, PM/Lead MD sees that CN/CR is 2 days late instead of showing "due today" as PM/lead MD got the task 2nd time and PM/Lead MD is not late on processing the task. Please see attached screenshot that shows the ticker showing 5 days late for PM when creator of the CN took 5 days to correct and resend the CN for approval. This is shown under "My assignments tab".
