Categorization fields visable as columns in the web app, and in the bom / export to excel

I have added Categorization with attributes to our Tenant. it works perfect for searching specific parts.

So I have the category "bolts" with the following attributes:

  1. ISO / Special
    1. ISO 4017
    2. ISO 4762
  2. Size
    1. M3
    2. M4
    3. M5
  3. Length
    1. 4mm
    2. 5mm
    3. 6mm
    4. 8mm
  4. Material
    1. 8.8
    2. 10.9
    3. 12.9
    4. 304 / A2

Adding this to the bolts we use is very helpful, but only when it is also visible in the web app, the BOM export and the excel Export.

Why? because the exports are handed to our supplier if the categorization info is not available they have no information on the type of bolts to use. Adding this information to the item description is double the work and defeats the whole purpose of the categorization. Therefor I want to purpose to add the values added to Items through the categorization as selectable columns that also show in the Excel Export or Bom Export.

Alternatively a concatenation of the values into a field that is available for excel Export and or Bom Export

Hi @evandergoot,

would you have a preference in which order you would like to see this feature supported? Is the BOM export more important than the excel? Is the web BOM exposure more important than any report?

Best regards,
