The CAD importer needs to support 2D file formats. I have a customer that wants to load in large quantities of DWG files into Upchain and place them under a product structure end item of a project. The import data tool inside of the CAD plugin will only allow items to be created as end items.
have you potentially tried import of DWG files over generic plugin? There are many different file types that are supported over generic plugin. Any feedback you can report regarding using generic plugin in this matter?
