Why can’t the option to add brushes be added to the mobile app? It is a capability of both Procreate and Clip Studio. If this was possible it would make Sketchbook my primary app.

Hello Autodesk team, Well, I use the Android app and it's so amazing, but I was thinking why don't you add a blur brush or tool? You know, most of our drawings contains mor than a ground, like background, midground(s) and foreground, and as an artist, I really do care for bluring some areas to focus on a special part in the drawing so, could you add it, please? Let me know when my request is read by the developers.

The eraser on a Wacom/Surface/Etc. pen should default to the last used eraser. Or, at the least, be configurable to something other than the default 'hard' eraser. I use a lot of custom brushes, none of the default palette, and this omission means I can never use my pen eraser.

Here me out. We need the COOL brush packs like the Manga, the Water, and those other amazing packs onto the mobile version of Sketchbook. I mean, it would make the mobile version MORE better, TBH. Yall agree with me on this?

hello guys, im WES or WESLEY and i was working on graffiti brush and for now its done, im not a real world graffiter and i never did one like for real. I see alot of graffiti digital on social midia but only with IPAD PROCREATE so how i dont have an ipad i came the idea to create in my favourite app because i use sketchbook pro since 2014 started on android and now i have my digital pen (wacom intuos) for this im sharing some arts i did with these brushes for all see how it works, i hope every one can use, every kind people not only the urban people who likes the hip hop moves. you can find me on instagram only @Anonymous_wes sorry about bad english im brazilian 😄 did on flibook used the brushes how works all caps brush

Sketchbook Pro vs. Adobe Fresco I am a big fan od Sketchbook Pro and have been using it for a long time, even more now than before. Some days ago the brand new Adobe Fresco was released for Win10 Surface Pro line of computers. Some time before that for the iOS line of iPads. Fresco is not yet fully developed, it is free to be used for six months, and during that time it will be adding all the missing things that Sketchbook Pro already have, plus some more, i guess. Fresco will be a very good program and it is already good, one of the best there is actyally. Sketchbook and Procreate be aware! For me a good painting, sketching and illustrating program must have a very good UI. Sketchbook got it, Fresco got it as well as Procreate (and Infinite Painter on Android , a favourite of mine). The all are easy to use on the Surface or iPad (well, Procreate is iPad only...). All are top UI design! A good graphic program must also have is a very good brush engine and all sorts of well designed brushes. The programs I listed here all have that, maybe Procreate is the leader of the pack? The race is on. The question is who will lead the race into the future? I think probably Adobe Fresco since it will catch a big user base among professionals in the Adobe ecosystem. But! It will cost a lot when it is on the subscription list next year and you have to have a Surface computer or an iPad to use it, it does not work on your desktop. Many hobbyists and even pros might want a cheaper program. Procreate is cheap and got many enthusiastist but works only on an iPad, not on Win 10 or Mac. Sketchbook Pro works on all platforms (not Linux yet) and is free. My idea / suggestion is: check Adobe Fresco out and also check the Fresco to-do list up on the start page in the program. What is on that list and what adds to it in the future is something Autodesk can think of developing for Sketchbook Pro..! Keeping up to the standard of Fresco will probably attract many artists. I believe in the future for Sketchbook Pro. Have a wonderful time sketching!

Perhaps adding a Chameleon Tool? (A Chameleon Tool or brush, could be used to make a gradient of different colors or just a gradient of one color from light to dark.) It wouldn't be like the bucket tool, because it is a brush instead.

I have mentioned this before in the past long ago but I want stress it enough. I can't describe it in any good way except that Clip Studio's oil and watercolor brushes are and feel much better compared to Sketchbook's version of them. It is so hard to describe but i'm going to try. In Clip Studio, the brush starts of with a tiny "tail" and low on paint and end in the same manner unless you go nuts with your pen and tablet and really press down on it. Sketchbooks synthetic paint, starts with a lot of paint and den drags it away. It is realistic, but not fun in the same kinda way. When you paint over a color with either watercolor or oil in Clip Studio, the color momentarily and then returns to original color. the colors and effects you can get by just doing some random lines and colors are fascinating! Sketchbook on the other hand is a realist and drags that color away with the brush and blends it. Now, i have tried, several different settings and brush types. Standard, Marker, Synthetic and Natural blend. and i couldn't get the same result. Natural blend was closest tho. If you have any idea how to change the brush settings to get a similar result, i would happily listen and love it! I just want the same experience when i color on Sketchbook. And it is one of the good point of Clip Studio. And also that the brush starts and ends with low paint and a "tail"/narrower than the rest of the stroke. Watercolor and Oil is one of the few things that I want sketchbook to do better or similar to Clip Studio

I've tried to modify other brushes to get the same same effect for both tools but it seems that it is not possible with the current brush settings available. Would be nice to add both to the "brush type" drop down menu so that you can make any brush a dodge or burn brush.

Hi, I would like having the option to set the level of stabilization for stroke stabilizer tool. Android's free tool has predictive stroke that works perfectly and has this option. Older versions for PC solve this issue with 2 separate tools called Predictive stroke and Steady Stroke with levels. Can we expect this feature soon? Thanks, Joaquín

In the 5.0.0 update for Windows 10 sketchbook, bush cursors were added with no way to turn them off. Myself and several other users find that this new addition unfortunately makes the program rather unusable and useless. It would be great if an option to turn off these cursors, like in the desktop version, was available as soon as possible! Otherwise, as some users already have done, many may switch to other programs. Thank you for your consideration 🙂

I think it will be much better to allow some tools or -- primarily brushes to be added that is not from the sketchbook, I mean, the brushes are good, but it will be much better if we can download some moded brushes then place them in application. I am an android user of sketchbook pro by the way 🙂

When signing in to Sketchbook and you get all pro features after changing PC or buying a new laptop. One of the things that I do is to download all available brush sets, then a slow nightmare starts. Moving them in preferred order, like acrylics at the top and crayons at the bottom. Moving the brush sets is tedious. A nightmare. It is painfully slow. If the possibility that you can add a feature that remembers the order and Sets, that would be fantastic! Or have added brush sets grayed out if they are not downloaded yet. Like "Acrylics" light gray/normal, "Crayons" dark gray/not downloaded. And have the Download Bottom next to it. Saving your own custom made brush sets or others in this matter would be really nice and considerate. But difficult, I know that. But still nice.

I often need to use predictive tool while drawing for clean lines and shapes. This tool works with any brush EXCEPT ERASER. The eraser tool does not work , and this predictive tool does not work even if I use a brush and change the style to eraser . I think that this feature is very good and important .

To whom it may concern, My name is Journee Clouse. I am a caricature artist and I have been using your sketchbook app for nearly 3 years. I am very very passionate about my art. At work, I use a wacom tablet with your program. It is an amazing program, and the only one I will use. I have also used this same app on my iPhone 6 and Galaxy Tab s4 with an S Pen. The biggest differences between these 3 platforms, in my opinion, is Brush Options and Brush Precision. Working from home, for me, is drastically different than at work, simply because of this difference. I strongly feel that the options for the additional brushes would make a huge difference for your customers as well. We would be enabled to create even more beautiful artwork without limits. Especially people who might not be able to afford a desktop. I feel like I speak for alot of people when I say that it would be an excellent and hugely appreciated addition to the mobile versions.

Just like you can't modify the Copic Brush Set because it doesn't show "Advanced" options, I would like Autodesk to add that same feature for Custom Brushes. I'm a guy that always keeps backups of everything, and of couse this means that I own backups of my Custom Brushes. So, one day I was using the Brush Puck, and I was testing the "Change Opacity/Flow" option instead of just the "Change Size Only" option... soon after all my brushes wouldn't work as expected because I didn't noticed that I changed the Flow of my brushes with the Brush Puck. I've disabled that option ever since, and loaded my brushes once again. Although this is not a problem, as you can literally turn off the "Change Opacity/Flow" settings from the Brush Puck, adding the feature of locking the brush settings might come useful when sharing brushes with other uses, as they'll work the same everytime because it's features can't be changed.

I've mentioned this in passing, in another thread. But I think it deserves its 'moment in the sun' by being given its own spot as a suggestion: REQUEST: Please provide an option to lock a tool's settings [Brush Size and Opacity] so they cannot be accidentally changed. RATIONALE: [taken from the other thread] One of my big frustrations with Sketchbook is that there's no way to properly lock a tool's settings. I can hide most of the interface but I can't get rid of the puck or the two wee sliders which change brush size and opacity. Now, I realise that, depending on what technique someone is using, they may wish to have this quick access to these settings. For example, someone trying to work in a watercolour style will be wanting to change brush size and opacity regularly. However, for recreating other techniques, the brush size and opacity should remain constant. For example, I often work with the fountain pen tool in a pen and ink style. I want to set the brush [or nib] size at the outset and also the ink colour and opacity [usually 100% to mimic Indian Ink] and then I don't want these to change for the rest of my drawing. Unfortunately, t's just far too easy to accidentally hit one of those wee brush size/opacity sliders with a stray finger and accidentally change one of those settings. It's annoying enough when [as is the case with brush size] it's easy enough to subsequently spot I've done so and thus undo and correct. But when I accidentally nudge the transparency slider down from 100% to around 90% I often don't even notice I've done so until I've exported the image as a PSD, opened it in Photoshop and found –as per the linked thread – that the barely noticeable 10% or so transparency change in Sketchbook has turned into a 50% change in Photoshop. So I have to go back to Sketchbook and re-ink my drawing. It's incredibly frustrating. So it would be great if there was a way to lock-in the settings for a particular tool at the outset, so they couldn't be changed without unlocking the tool first. Alternatively, providing an option to also include the puck and brush size / opacity sliders when hiding the interface would alleviate the problem of hitting these while drawing and making accidental settings changes.
