I love the program and everything about it. I think a good way to just add to the richness of the program would be to allow you  to create multiple sketchbooks or multiple pages. With multiple pages you can work on more than one project at a time. Helpful for us with sporadic minds. Having the ability to create multiple sketchbooks would allow for someone to have a little more order to their work by categorizing the big projects we're working on in different locations that save to our profiles. I've been looking into starting animation for a while now, and, as a long time user of Windows 10 Sketchbook, was happy to see that your Desktop Edition had a Flipbook tool. However, after playing around with the Desktop Edition on several different projects, I found it worked much too differently and much less smoothly from Windows 10 for me to actually get anything decent done. I think if you were to add the Flipbook/Animation ability to Windows 10 edition, it would make the program even better than it already is and entice more new users to try it out! Show More

Please include a tool to draw perpendicular lines at desired angle . by activating this tool user can only draw lines at 0 degree or 90 degree. adding some general features for the comic creators and making it easier for them to create comics on Sketchbook and by that way gain more users.   Things like:   A Comic Panel Editor. something similar to Polyline in Select menu on Sketchbook. And that way make a panel. With additional help to make straight lines, like small doted lines. And everything can turn white/dark or other color outside of it if needed.  Like a manga, flashback scene. everything behind the panel is dark. something like that and gradient from white to dark or the pan line fades.  The first panel should make canvas to the color you want. panel is white, background is dark, when i add a new panel in the dark unused area it goes white. You can only draw only inside the panel but it will still draw under the dark area, said panel lines can be moved similar to Transform.  Maybe all that is overkill but there needs to be a decent tool to use for drawing panels in different shapes.     Effect Editor, something in the line of Clip Studio.     Speech Bubble Editor.  either by using something like Ployline or the circle to make the area of the speech bubble. And when I say Polyline, I mean in a "I see you have marked that area, let me make a circle around that area". Then to drag the tail of the speech bubble to where you want it to go. With having the option of making it to another speech bubble so they are connected, make two or more steps to mouth or place where sound comes from so that the tail can curve and don't always go in a straight line. And the Tail goes over other text tail so it becomes obvious who is talking first. Then add the effect of the speech bubble. Like screaming, whispering, thinking and carefree etc.     And finally  A Better Text Editor.  Let me mark a area I want the text in and then all them current option come up with type of text and color and size, but then I type, I type it to the area so I if it is good or decent instead of the current way. And when the top of the area end and I keep typing, it just jumps down a row and remain in the area. Instead of now when you type, check, make smaller words, add rows there and redo and repeat until you are happy with it.      All these setting should be in someway very closely integrated, like the speech bubble and text. Those should be easy to Edit and change in the Layer menu. Like I move a bubble and the text follows with it, I change a speech bubble tail's direction so it overlaps with another tail and it doesn't go crazy or is over complicated. Maybe just a Separate Menu just for these, unrelated to the drawing layers unless linked or Rasterize.  Having all these thing on the same layer menu and balancing it in groups or layers would be complicated. At least if every Bubble, tail, text, effect and panel gets their own layer. The bubble, tail and text could be very closely integrated with each other and possibly react to the Panels changing place or size.   A lot of this is a programming nightmare and wishes and can never be achieved, I know that. But if the easy ones could get included or approved upon, that would be awesome. This is also the Idea/Feedback area so I am giving you it.  Show More

Using Sketchbook for creating interior lay-outs, it would be nice to have some more easy to use functions, without losing the drawing function of the program of course. I'm thinking on this kind of stuff: - A snap function on  rotating a layer. For example when you hold the shift key, the rotating snaps to 15 degree steps. - Percentage input when resizing a layer for precise enlargements. - Moving a layer by using the arrow keys (one pixel steps).   There is enough CAD-knowledge at Autodesk to implement a few functions for making this program better for architects 😉 Could be an add on to be paid for of course. I think it will be much better to allow some tools or -- primarily brushes to be added that is not from the sketchbook, I mean, the brushes are good, but it will be much better if we can download some moded brushes then place them in application.   I am an android user of sketchbook pro by the way 🙂 Show More

When signing in to Sketchbook and you get all pro features after changing PC or buying a new laptop. One of the things that I do is to download all available brush sets, then a slow nightmare starts. Moving them in preferred order, like acrylics at the top and crayons at the bottom. Moving the brush sets is tedious. A nightmare. It is painfully slow. If the possibility that you can add a feature that remembers the order and Sets, that would be fantastic!    Or have added brush sets grayed out if they are not downloaded yet. Like "Acrylics" light gray/normal, "Crayons" dark gray/not downloaded. And have the Download Bottom next to it. Saving your own custom made brush sets or others in this matter would be really nice and considerate. But difficult, I know that. But still nice. Show More

hey, long time fan, loving the software, very easy to use and understand. But one thing stresses me out more than it should.   And that is that the canvas is behind menus and such, both active brushes and others. Let me make my case, the default setting for the canvas is "Use width and height of window" which shouldn't be a problem if the above mentioned and this post wasn't written.    Some people my prefer this way of menu setup but others don't. It is really good that i have the freedom of moving them around to places that i want them, as it should be. Now what i want is something in the line of Clip Studio, where the canvas area is set and "fit to view" doesn't end up shoving menus over the canvas. On that area, they have it really nailed down with how you still can customize your work space after your own preference. I would very much like that with a preview window and nightmode. Nightmode is super awesome!   other things that gets in the way of current canvas is the layer menu. it is super important and can't be closed. Brush properties, something so good and important if you want to customize the brush on light and heavy pressure. that menu is soo in the way... FeelsBadMan... if that whole menu can get a copy in the form or a rectangular menu, similar to a... windows volume control! but smaller like the Sketchbooks Toolbar. and have Size, Opacity, Flow and Edge in it! And Size Opacity and Flow has each one "bar" (?) for Heavy pressure and Light pressure. very similar to what the menu looks like now but less big and flipped on the side.    Or just incorporate said menu as its own little menu like in Clip Studio.  Show More

I work for an underground utility locating company and we use the Sketchbook App to map out the utilities we locate on a google map overlay. What would greatly help is if there was an option to name the line with text. For instance if we track a water service along the road, we would need to mark that up with a line representing where that service would be, followed by what kind of service water service it is(water main, house connection etc), the service depth and finally a letter representing how confident we are that the service is there. In areas with congested services, mapping with Sketchbook can take a very long time. A feature where we can label or name the lines with a text box would greatly speed up this task.
