(API) Spider - the multi-tool with rigid links

Hi,

I would like to present my new addon - the Spider. It will help you to create rigid links for multiple column-slab joints, multiple beam-wall joints, create rigid links along beam length and finally create drop panels and connect them to the slab by rigid links.

This video will give you an understanding about possibilities of the Spider

Please visit http://spider.structuraldesign.pro, fill the form and get your Spider today.

Thanks!

During the last three months, the Spider has been significantly modified and improved. Based on that, I am proud to present the Spider Pro – professional multi-tool for professionals who use Autodesk Robot on the daily basis.

The list of new features:
• User can input the number of nodes along sides of the column on the Column tab
• Beam to wall connection on the Beam tab now is possible for any cross section of the beam with the height indicated by User
• The brand-new Bar 3D tab allows a User to create spiders for any bars in the 3D space
• User can create rigid links along the length of the bar to connect bars to panels or to connect panels with panels on the brand-new Bar to Panel tab
• User can easily modify length of the selected bars on the brand-new Extender tab

Please watch this short video to be aware of how all new features are working https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0SPGyPY3A0

The spider looks great!!.

Do yo think it can work in a Robot Millennium v20.1.5 (2007)?

Hi Hector,

I'm not sure regarding old versions of Robot. With RSA 2016-2018 the Spider works great. Anyway, you can try 😉

Hello

I am running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit operating system with the lastest Creators Update installed (Version 1703).

When trying to install Spider the following message comes up:

1.JPG

Is this a common issue? Is there a workaround?

Thanks,

Tiago
