(API) Spider - the multi-tool with rigid links

Hi,

I would like to present my new addon - the Spider. It will help you to create rigid links for multiple column-slab joints, multiple beam-wall joints, create rigid links along beam length and finally create drop panels and connect them to the slab by rigid links.

This video will give you an understanding about possibilities of the Spider

Please visit http://spider.structuraldesign.pro, fill the form and get your Spider today.

Thanks!

What's new in Spider Pro v.1.4:

Now it is possible to convert beams to shells in Robot with numerous settings:
• Beam with any cross-section will be converted with the dimensions inputted by the user. For RC beams dimensions may be obtained automatically.
• The label thickness may be predefined or automatically created with the thickness equals to beam height. In addition, a user may input a prefix for the name of the thickness label.
• Possibility to define desired panel calculation model, combining checkboxes FE and One-way.
• Possibility to assign linear releases

What's new in Spider Pro v.1.5:

  • User can easily modify load contour for selected loads on the brand-new Load on Contour tab

LoadonCount.png

Please watch this short video to be aware of how this new feature is working in Spider Pro v.1.5

  • Now it is possible to create compatible nodes (all directions are blocked) located at the top or at the bottom of selected columns on the Column tab. This option will be useful for Diaphragmer customers.

ComptNode.png

  • The command Delete Nodes has been changed to Select Nodes on the Modifier tab. The reason is a small bug in Robot API. Please check this link for more information https://goo.gl/4Jqe7E

What's new in Spider Pro v.1.6:

• User can easily modify contour of the panel or opening using Modify Contour command on Modifier tab

01.png

• Now it is possible to adjust a number of nodes and diameter for circular columns on the Column tab.

002.png

• The alternative solution (“Brazilian method”) for rigid zones over the columns using slabs with enormous Young’s module was implemented. Many thanks @Rafacascudo for this idea. In the current version, the user has to create the thickness label and custom material by himself. Please check this link for more information https://goo.gl/okFsLd

001.png

• Now it is possible to switch off automatic panel selection in the contour plane for selected load case on the Load on Contour tab. This option will help with analytical models exported from Revit.

002.png

• User can easily create stairs according to the selected rectangular contour using Create Stairs command on the brand-new Stairs tab. The contour shall have 4 vertices.

003.png

• Now it is possible to take in to account the value of the Gamma angle defined in the bar section label dialog.
