Measure centre of bolt holes

Why is it not possible to measure to the centre of bolt holes in Revit 2019? Seems like a basic function to me. Or am I missing something? See attached screencast.

I am aware that there's no problem with measuring to centre of bolts. I would like to measure to centre of bolt holes.

Hi guys,

At the present moment Hole Centers and Shear Stud centers can't be dimensioned. We are working to enable this in a future version.

The Help Documentation contains several limitations on Tags and Dimensions.

Any update on this? It's kind of annoying using drafting workarounds on something where you can actually see when hovering over a hole, you can dimension the diameter or radius, but not the actual setout.Hole.jpg

to add dimension to hole center, just draw a short line (those lines can snap to the arc of the holes) and snap to your newly added line instead.

You mean use the annoying drafting workaround I was specifically not wanting to do?
