Randomly cannot save my project. Not sure where this should go in the forums but I work mainly on structures so I figured here will do.

This is the second time I'm getting this error today and I've had work colleagues get similar errors and no one seems to know why or how to fix it?

As you can see from the image there are no background calculations running. They're also all turned off where possible. I have no idea how to get around this issue.

THANK YOU! I didnt even need to copy over the file for it to work

For anyone reading, just in case, note that i beforehand ended the REVITWorker.exe task on my task manager.

It happened to me a few days ago. I was able to solve it by just opening the same file in the same Revit, then changing the window view to the previous project I was having issues with. Then, would either remind you to save your file (depending on how you preset the save file reminders) or let you do it by yourself. I had already tried some of the solutions listed in the forum but I wasn't successful.

There is an element in your file causing this and if you take a look in your 3d view the element will appear with cyan lines around it .... I got the same issue when i create steel structural framing and here is the solution....

1.Find that object in 3D view

2. select the instance

3. click on (edit Family) command in modify tab.

4. Now you are in the family file

5. without any changes in the family just load the family again into your project file & the issue is fixed.

hope my comment was helpful for you.

sorry for any grammar mistakes.
