Wireframe view is great, but picking overlapping objects is frustrating!

Wireframe view is handy for seeing elements hidden behind others.  It does not make selecting them a simple, efficient task.

All elements are shown as edges with no indication of distance from the user's viewpoint, and faces cannot be selected.  Tab selection favors some object categories over others, and chain-selection can make it impossible to select a single portion of a wall in the midst of other objects. In any case number of objects available often makes tab-bashing very inefficient.

I propose that a right-click menu (or other speedy interface) showing a list of objects below the cursor should be implemented. The user would right click and then select the needed object easily.
