View Cube Shortcut Keys

I've read several versions of this request.  Adding my take on it:  Please add robust, programmable hotkeys to the view cube.  

 CURRENTLY: You can create SOME hotkeys, BUT:

♦ There are NO isometric view options for hotkeys.
♦ The "Use animated transition when switching views" remains on for hotkeys, (even if checked off in the view cube options). 

♦ The "Fit-to-view on view change" remains on for hotkeys, (even if check off in the view cube options).

This makes using the current hotkey options for the 3D cube less useful and slow.  Fixing these items would greatly improve things!  Please educate me if I am wrong about any of these items.  Thank you for your time.
