Select/Edit Multiple Text Elements

It would be nice if you could select more than one text element & make changes such as left/right justification, bold, underline, etc. and add/subtract leaders.  It's cumbersome to have to individually select each text object and change it to left aligned.

Agreed. I specifically just came to the idea board to request this same functionality.
Specifically, I would expect the visual commands in the Command Ribbon to appear with multiple text boxes selected, like this:

HOWEVER, as I was looking into this just now, I noticed that you actually CAN perform some of these functions (I'm using Revit 2021.1.6), just not from the command ribbon as I would expect...

Instead, if I have multiple text boxes selected, the PROPERTIES window (instead of the Command Ribbon) gives the option to adjust text box alignment for multiple elements.

Regarding the ability to change the text appearance (Bold, Italic, Underline, font), I'd recommend creating different Text types for your needs.

Adding leaders to multiple text boxes at a time may still be nice though... though I could see this creating issues if you accidentally selected more text boxes than you think.

Hope this helps @creed

Thank you so much, this just saved me so much time, I used to underline my text one by one and it would take me an hour just to underline my text. @jklynsma
