Schedule Checkbox Properties

Schedule Checkbox Properties

Currently a checkbox in a schedule equates to "Yes/No".  Can the output of the checkbox be customized? ("YES/NO", "•/-", etc.)

I understand you can use calculated values and duplicated schedules to achieve this but that will double all schedules.  It would be nice to customize what a checkbox does to a schedule on a sheet without the need for duplicated schedules.

this just needs to be similar to how the <Varies> works and or just a Unit format. if this is implemented please add an api call to control this. we make schedules to do this with calculated parameters (no api access) to get the "required look"

The amount of times I hit walls with revit engineers on scheduling a comes down to the "Look" and "ease" the multi parameters needed to get the look makes them annoyed they cant just fake it like text in excel.

the fact that it comes in as Yes/No and not YES/NO/NA or YES/NO/- is enough o have them say well im just going to do excel schedules than.

Id like to add the display value for null as a yes/no parameter can be 0,1, -1 in value in the api. Sometimes we want that -1 value like in a Plumbing Fixture schedule the ADA column is YES, NO or NA and the firms I work with want a check mark for Yes and X for No and a NA for "not applicable"

Honestly the NA for a null value in an schedule column format would be great. we have this for plumbing fixtures to say that the fixture does not have hot water connections. (NA or - are what they want but we use black cell fill to hide the 0r its blank and empty as the if value is <0.1 shade black doesnt work with nulls)
