Add auto-join function to families. Examples: countertops, wall base, base cabinet toe kicks. I presently model each of these with generic models so I can control extents and join geometry in the main model. I would love to have that last step automated.
Easiest options might be to toggle at the family level (similar to toggling "shared") or assigning a toggle to a subcategory within a family. "Automatically join with other instances of family" or "Automatically join with geometry of same subcategory".
