Save file path for other actions

Save file path for other actions

Hi!

When saving a PDF export Setup, It saves all except the file location.

When working on different projects during the day. you have to reselect it each time.

It would be convenient to save the project path for each project. Also when importing files or exporting files for your active project. it opens the selected path for each project individually.

And the file path with PDF export is saved with the export setup save. When saving muliple setups, you can choose the file location more efficiently.

Not sure if that is desirable behaviour.

I always export to my PC (folder not relevant) so that it's faster. Always the same folder, so that I can confirm it's all there before I move to the correct folder in the office server and any other that is needed.

My folder is not the same as my colleague, that has the same workflow becase it's the best pratice.

The only reason to have this is if you are setting up export automations and really need the output to go directly to the final folder, but that should be done in the automation interface and not in the export setup, like you are asking.

I've just commented on another wish were the best answer is automation. So go for Automation Autodesk and you will solve a nice bucket of wishes at the same time - and you already know it's possible because someone alrady made it in a way...
