In order to change attributes like the diameter of a connector, (in MEP cases) the value of the parameter associated to the diameter of the connector should be triggered.
If the parameter's name is unknown (or simply for the sake of a flexible code) the name can only be retrieved in a family document, which means opening the family in the background etc. This is very time and memory consuming in most cases.
It would be great if at least the parameters of the most important properties of a connector like the diameter/width/height were directly retrievable in the project.
