This seems like it would be a no brainer but apparently not. Frequently, soon after syncing to central, the sync nag window pops up. Can't the timer reset with each sync?
If you sync....then try to close Revit, does it want you to sync again? If so, you have some corrupted elements in your model. This may be the same issue with the nag popup...
