When using DWG links, the Query tool is extremely helpful. Unfortunately, the Query tool ONLY works when you aren't using a View Template or you have Imported Categories not 'Included' within your View Template. This limitation causes a lot of extra time spent, or inconsistent views because not all items for the View Template can be included within it.
If the Hide button worked when Imported Categories was included in a View Template, that would solve the issue, but alternatively, there could be an additional button on the Query tool to hide the layer within the view's View Template.
