The whole configuration menu is a bit of a mess that seems to be just slapped together to quickly create a configuration menu.
Sometimes it's a bit confusing to what a particular parameter actually changes. A suggestion would be to show in a small easy to understand sketch format what it would change (like view range) and/or show a preview (like wall layers)...
