Loadable Schedule templates

Loadable Schedule templates

We need to have loadable Schedule templates, like Allplan does. I know Schedules are system families, but that makes it very difficult to edit and save. The loadable Schedule templates is the main reason why many people love Allplan: easy to understand, easy to customize in the nick of time as needed.

Each Revit specialty needs different schedule templates, and they are very hard to manage when you can't order them in individual folders as distinct files/objects.

Granted, if there is anything that Allplan can do and Revit cannot, this needs immediate action on AD's side.

Concerning loadable schedules, I am fairly certain that you can copy schedules from one project (or template) to another using the clipboard. There is also saving to a new Revit file from the context menu. If the target project does not have anything to be scheduled, the copy is hardly more than a template. Am I missing something?

@MiWolff : Certainly Revit CAN DO that, and even more than Allplan can. That's not the point. It's about cost-to-production and time-to-production. Why should I buy expensive Revit with no default schedule templates while i can buy cheaper Allplan with lots of schedule templates built-in? You get upfront schedules with Apllan, don' t have to spend time creating schedule templates.

We need universal schedule templates in Revit, just like any other default family, so any new employee may jump-start in creating new schedules for any project very fast.
