Place open views on sheet

Why not have an option that will place the views that are open in the UI on a sheet that you select from a list in a dialogue. Place the ones you can to a default position you can manually move later when you open the sheet. The ones already placed on other sheets just get ignored with a warning perhaps.

Currently we need to have the sheet open and find the view we want to place in the project browser to drag it onto the sheet, even if we have the view open. If I'm placing sections, plans, 3Ds on the same sheet I am navigating up and down the project browser to drag the view onto the sheet. Going between a placement task and selection task. Would prefer to navigate up and down the project browser picking out/opening the views first (as one operation) and then add them all to a sheet.

Could be a similar option, place current view on sheet.

@szilagyi.balazs I don't see anything in the description of that app that indicates functionality anywhere close to what's being asked for (placing the currently open view on an existing sheet). Also, it's only listed as compatible with 2016 & 2017. I know that usually add-ins will work on newer versions anyway, but 2018 broke some behind-the-scenes stuff...

Thanks for cross referencing @lionel.kai, probably different ideas to solve the same problem.

Perhaps they should be merged on that basis.

Regarding add-ins, some things are so basic to Revit they should be part of Revit i.e. placing view(s) on a sheet in a straightforward way that limits scrolling up and down to find them (just needs better ergonomics).
