pdf vector output of transparent shadows

pdf vector output of transparent shadows

A long time ago, when I was still using another (CAD) software, that could output elevations, perspective and isometric views to vector formats including shadows calculated by the piece. Revit will only give us rasterized output when shadows are visible. The idea is to change that and make use of the capabilities postscript and portable document format allow for transparency.

@kimberly_fuhrman-jones Both of the ideas you mention are similar, but both leave the loophole for Autodesk to get away with really good rasterizing or combining vector output with rasterized shadows. That is exactly what I do not want. So, please, refrain from combining them. Reading through the comments of the two like ideas, I gather that there is another competitor that already provides that functionality than the one I had in mind.

@MiWolff , Thank you for the clarification!
