The way to create or change stairs in revit is very complicated. The tool needs to be optimized totally. The tool has to many ways to change things, there are to many submenus where you can set adjustments.
I´d like to have a clear mask, where all properties can be set or changed.
Another anoing point is the option top and base level. It would be nice to decide if i want to desing by top/base level and riser/tread or to design by the riser/tread and number or to desing in floor/section. But you can change everything with totally wired results, there are confusing relationships between all options. Also if you desing by top/base level I often got the warning base is lower than top, but the warning is totaly wrong!
It´s even worth if you desing by sketch! Awful handling of all different lines and properties!
To desing stairs in revit it costs to much time with an wors result.
Please make the whole prozess of desining stairs more easyely without all thes supmenus/property sets!!!!
