Multi Alignment or Multiple Align / copy / join / cut / trim / extend

Hi,

We are using Alignment option often and also in some cases we using multi align too.

why not, we select all the elements which have to be align with destination element.

Solution:

Instead, we can drag it like this below image, we can save several click times and we can drag, what the particular we want to align.

And also, while ALIGN (AL) we can use by selecting SIHFT key + DRAG to deselect the one, not to align

NOTE:

This is just an idea and yet to do programming, and can add in REVIT by default for future users to save time n even more user friendly. Not only for Alignment which may applicable for similar multi options like multi copy, multi cut, multi join and etc..

Have you tried the 'multi extend / trim' tool in the Modify Ribbon

Your "Solution" for multi align just seems to be describing how this tool works

@dhepi2311  If I am understanding correctly, the point of your Idea is to apply the ability of trim/extend multiple (by dragging window) to other commands such as copy, join, align, and cut. Is that correct?

@kimberly_fuhrman-jones Exactly and also consider for deselecting similar with SHIFT + Dragging window.
