Currently silhouettes do not appear to apply to cut edges. This makes their use less appealing in diagrammatic 3D sections. Please make silhouettes apply to cut edges. This setting could be optional so that it doesn't interfere with cut line style overrides.
The following screenshot illustrates this problem. I chose extra thick silhouette line style to show that the edges of cut items are not silhouetted as expected.
