Insert View from File (Without going thru upgrade process of linked in Revit Models)

Please make it so when using the Insert View From File feature, when you are grabbing views from say an older Revit model, make it so it does not upgrade every linked in model for that file.  You can't insert views from those linked in files anyways, so make it to where it ignores those files during the process.  There are times when using this tool, I've had to wait almost 20 minutes for the upgrade process to process the main file, then the Arch file I have linked into that file, then the MEP file linked into that file, etc.  It's a major pain.  I am not always able to open the old version of Revit and save the drafting view out to a file on it's own as it may be too many versions back, so it would be really nice to not have to upgrade every Revit linked in file when running this.

THIS THIS THIS!  Please so much this!  Or at the very least, include the Specify tool on opening, or even better, don't even open model worksets at all when using the Insert View from File tool!  It's only for drafting views and schedules anyway.  It would be nice to have it only upgrade the file temporarily to be able to shows the list of those views, without upgrading all the other links.

At present I am attempting to load a few schedules from a 2022 Revit model into my new 2024 Revit project model, however it is taking a very long time to load using the 'Insert from file' tool. This is because the 2022 model and all of its linked models are being automatically upgraded to 2024 version. Can we please introduce an option to NOT upgrade all linked models during this process - it would save a lot of time! .. thanks in advance 😉
