Home menu: Allow for some sort of favoriting projects or search for easier finding of projects

Just as the subject line states. I am a BIM Manager who is a ton of projects a day in multiple versions of Revit. The home screen project list is nice to have but it is a pain trying to locate a project in my list given a certain Revit version. Having a search function, a favoriting system, or at least have the list be alphanumeric in sorting would be better than zero organizational abilities in the menu.

What version are you in?  Are you using the "New Revit Home"?

On the Revit Home page, you can sort your list by several of the columns in the Recent list.

You can pin your most used projects or families to the top of the list.  

In options you can uncheck "Show projects in all Revit software versions at New Revit Home", so that only projects/families from that version will show in the Home screen. 

Or are you talking about the Projects list under Autodesk Projects?  I can't quite tell by your image file.  It would be nice if the list was sortable I agree, but again, I'm not sure if that's what you're referring to.

The screenshot was from 2025 or 2026 I believe. I'm in so many versions everyday I do not remember lol. Either way I did find the search bar at the top right in 2025, but it seems kind of clunky to me. I would rather have a "live list" if you will with all the Autodesk projects list on the left of my screen cap.

I did not see a way to pin projects in that list either. We are 100% in Forma Cloud for all of our projects so being the main troubleshooter of projects, I am in a lot of projects. 😃 It would be nice to at least have a couple options to filter and/or organize the list.

Speaking of that, an added bonus would be a way to know what version the current Revit project was in without having to manually do it with file names or project names.....
