Global Parameter: Colour Swatch

Global Parameter: Colour Swatch

Manually editing colour swatches in colour schemes with many colours based on e.g. room names is laborious and time consuming - being able to reference a Global / Master colour swatch would be helpful for editing purposes, thereby being able to control/reference many items simultaneously.

The availability to find a "Color Parameter" for example on filled regions, models,......etc

Many times we need to create a family with various types differ according to color and are repeated through project;

at this time a Color parameter is required.

Very Important and saves alot.

Agree.  This would allow using Global Parameters to dictate Filter Colors and Material Assets Project-wide.

Hello,

For all animation families (people, vehicles,...) I use families of detail elements.
But it is currently impossible to change the shade of an easily filled area without having to edit the family.

Solve 1

I wish there could be or a color parameter.

Solve 2
Or the filled silk area is placed in a subcategory that could be changed.

This would allow us to quickly change all our families and avoid having to multiply them.

Thanks

in the design process we can
to create a lot of custom parameters, some of them are important and affect the filling of specifications, others just form the geometry of the third do nothing but are necessary for the correct existence of other parameters and it would be cool if as in mac os I can label with the label the folders I need and in revit this function would save a lot of time. Also, it would not hurt at all and in the project manager during multi-user work, for example, one user painted his view in red, another in blue, etc., and you do not need to read the names of the species, just looked at your color and you’re sure you go there

Hi @Daniel_Voinkov,

We are working on our very own property palette that addresses exactly this topic. If you want to participate in the very early stage to help development just let me know.

global parameter to exchange easily.

This would be really useful. We often create detail items where we'd like to have parameters that are a RGB color and then use these in fills etc. Right now we need to create multiple versions of the fill for each color that would be needed.
