When we place a filled region into a model if we want a pattern as well as a solid background colour we presently place the pattern filled region and then copy it to itself. We then rename the copied filled region and edit its properties so that it is a solid fill with 100% transparency. It would save us a lot of time if the filled region editor were able handle 2 or even more filled regions in a single filled region edit dialogue box and be able to sort their display order in that same dialogue box. We have at times used 3 filled regions in the one place to achieve 2 patterns and one solid fill.
