It would be very useful if there was an option in each family type to indicate how it should behave when cut in the project. At the moment multiple families like furniture, casework, etc don't cut in the project - they always show in projection. This makes them impossible to detail in the project. We create a lot of bespoke casework and furniture and need to be able to cut them the same way as model in place families in the project would. At the moment we use generic model families instead but this is wrong for BIM projects.
Could options for how families behave when cut in the project be included in all family types? For example:
-tick box for: cut geometry as if it was model in place in the project (actual cut)
-tick box for: do not cut, show in projection only
-tick box for: show cut at set level - not actual cut (as window families behave at present, but with control over where that cut level is)
